Abstract: (Show)
Published as a graduate school thesis, this research study aimed to identify the differences between mindfulness meditation and EEG-alpha neurofeedback in training attention. While no clear differences were found between the two interventions, both illustrated enhancement of EEG-alpha amplitude. Additional research must be undertaken to understand clear interventions targeting EEG-alpha rhythm that influence neural processes underlying attentional control.
